You are sitting in another strategy meeting in your office and the buzz words start flying. “It has to go viral,” “what is the engagement”, “what about the Millennials”, “who is blogging about it”, and then it hits you, you are experiencing the same meeting over and over again.
You have become Bill Murray from Groundhog Day. So what should you do?
Play Bull Shit Bingo! Much like traditional bingo you have a card with a 5×5 grid in front of you, but instead of having numbers in the squares you have buzz words.
You can secretly pass out some cards to a few of your friends in the meeting. Every time someone says a buzz word on your card you mark the square. The moment someone gets 5 in a row they win and shout out “BULL SHIT!” or at least email the message to their fellow players.
Think about how much fun you will have at a meeting. You now will actually be motivated to pay attention to what people say.
