I founded TLB in 1998 after realizing how monotonous and predictable most people’s lives are. I figured if I could embrace a spirit of wonder and adventure I would have the excitement and fun that people always dreamed of. After reading the book Peter Pan by James M. Barrie I realized that it was not a philosophy for me to embrace as an individual but rather an opportunity to bring people together to have fun.

In Barrie’s book, Peter Pan is joined by a rag tag group of misfits known as “The Lost Boys”.  Together they go on exciting and wondrous adventures.  In honor of these wonderful characters I founded The Lost Boys, an organization dedicated to causing tomfoolery, shenanigans and ballyhoo. To ensure that girls would be just as welcome as boys we became known as TLB.

This website is to chronicles our experiences and to educate and inspire people to live a life full of wonder and adventure. I hope that what people read at TLB Adventures will cause them to partake in tomfoolery, shenanigans, and ballyhoo of their own.
